One to One Consultations

One to one consultations can help you to identify your potential nutritional imbalances and help evaluate whether these are contributing to your health issues.

We all require the raw basic materials in order for our bodies to function at their very best. Stress, stimulants, intense farming and processed food are just a few of the culprits that may lead to deficiencies.  We may experience low energy, poor digestion, weight gain, headaches, cravings for sugary foods and caffeine.  If this resonates with you, then discovering how to adopt a healthier diet and lifestyle can make all the difference.

Nutritional therapy is tailored to you as an individual because understanding the basics of healthy eating is often not enough.  Foods that suit one person may not necessarily suit another – that’s because we are all ‘biochemically individual’ meaning that the nutritional and chemical make up of each one of us is unique and that our dietary needs vary from one person to the next.  As a Nutritional Therapist, I can help you to identify any imbalances that may be preventing you from being healthy and in good shape.

How it works

Personal advice is given:

  • I will offer advice on dietary and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your current symptoms.
  • Suggestions will be made on the appropriate changes to your diet and lifestyle.  You may be given recipes and handouts to support these changes.
  • Most of my clients require three consultations in order to reach their own unique goals and make sufficient progress. However, some with more chronic issues may need support for a longer period of time, this can be discussed at your initial consultation.

Below are links to the tests that are carried out should you need them. Click on a test to be taken through to the corresponding site.

Many of these tests can be carried out at home by collecting a sample of breath, blood, saliva, urine and/or stool.  Sometimes a visit to a clinic may be necessary.  Functional tests may be used to ascertain any underlying issues you may have and direct your nutritional programme and, are only suggested when believed to be necessary.

Please do give me call, I keep Monday mornings free to speak to potential new clients (see number below).  If Mondays do not work for you, then please try calling another time and leave a message, I will call you back as soon as I’m able to.  We can discuss your health concerns and decide if Nutritional Therapy will be beneficial for you.

3 Month Nutritional Therapy Package

I usually find that most people need time and education in order to change their dietary and lifestyle habits for good, hence I have put the following programme together.

3 x 60 minute individual consultations.

This will involve an assessment of your current health issues, diet, nutrient status and lifestyle. You will have an opportunity to tell me what you would like to achieve from Nutritional Therapy and we can agree on some clear and achievable goals. Tests may also be recommended at this stage in order to help identify the root cause of your health concerns.

2nd Appointment
Diet and lifestyle changes will be recommended, you will be given clear guidance on what needs to change in order for you to reach your goals.

3rd Appointment
The third appointment gives you an opportunity to discuss how you’re adapting to your dietary changes, to continue your education and to monitor your progress.
